Farmhouse Sour Ale with Apple Cider and St. Pepin Grapes

In the Fall of 2016, we transferred Exiled Angel, our Belgian Golden Strong Ale, into our wine barrels along with fresh apple cider from Royal Oak Farm Orchard. The following Fall it was dosed again with fresh cider, fermented, and then blended with Barrel #22, a Farmhouse Saison with St. Pepin grapes from our family vineyard in Marengo, IL. In addition, this was bottle conditioned with apple cider.
