FIERCE FEMALE
West Coast IPA
We are very excited to bring to you FIERCE FEMALE; a crisp, bright West Coast IPA with assertive, but not overwhelming bitterness, with a clean dry finish. It has grapefruit leaning citrus aromas in the nose that complement the spruce tips and resin aromas. As you experience the beer you will notice more, subtler flavors of grapefruit, mango, and pine that can be found at the back, especially as the beer warms. Moderate carbonation elevates the zesty fruit flavors within, underneath a beautiful head of foam.
We brewed FIERCE FEMALE in honor of International Women’s Day on March 8th and Women’s History Month. 10% of all proceeds of this beer will be donated to Girls on the Run NW Illinois. Their vision to inspire girls and unleash their confidence is positive and empowering, which is exactly the message we want to convey with this project! The branding was a collaboration between the female employees at Scorched Earth and focuses on empowerment and highlighting women who have had a positive impact throughout history.
We hope the release of Fierce Female IPA will engage conversation about women’s achievements in history and support the next generation of Fierce Females!
