French Style Biere de Garde

While French wine remains one of the most celebrated liquids around the globe, there is a style of beer from France and Belgium that is cherished and sought after for many beer lovers - the Biere de Garde. Generally, the style features an abundance of toasted, toffee and caramelly malt flavors, along with some fruity esters imparted by the beer's ale yeast. Our interpretation is true, paying homage to the the region's brewing traditions, as well as to a favorite French brewery and it's Biere de Garde. Look for our barrel-aged holiday version this Fall!
