The malty aromas, and those of caramel, maple syrup (we added in fresh Vermont maple syrup!), with subtle hints of smoke fly through the air as the glass sits in your hand. The maltiness flavor is almost bready with notes of maple syrup, honey pumpernickel, earthy/deep, with a delicate sweet finish. This Smoked Maple Barleywine has a fantastic mouthfeel that is smooth and soft with the right balance in carbonation.
